What is bone meal fertilizer?
Bone meal fertilizer, also known as organic bone meal, is an organic fertilizer made from animal bones. It is a by-product of slaughterhouses and is made from ground or pelted beef bones. Bone meal fertilizer contains ingredients that help improve the health of flowering plants such as roses and tulips.
Benefits
Fertilizer from bone meal increases the level of phosphorus in the soil. Most bone meal fertilizers have an NPK ratio of approximately 3:15:0, indicating low nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) but high phosphorus (P). Increased soil phosphorus content encourages robust stems, large flowers, and strong roots.
Preparation
The Organic Bone Manure is produced only from animal bones. The curing system stabilizes the raw compost through controlled aerobic microbial decomposition. Heat is generated intrinsically without electricity by thermophilic bacteria. This method produces fertilisers with a high level of nutrients and microbes.
